Kelli Secondary School Story (An SEO Project)
“Kelli Secondary School (KSS)” began its work in 2013. The school serves Kelli and the surrounding villages because those villages lack an educational facility for students in grades 10, 11 and 12. This school year, there are 329 students (175 females, and 154 males) in the science and literature sections at KSS. This year KSS created a social specialist position to address the psychosocial needs of its students.
“Kelli Secondary School” adopted the Syrian Interim Government’s (SIG) regular curriculum. It has registered with the Directorate of Education in the province of Idlib and it is under the supervision of the Idlib Local Council Educational Office.
The Syrian Expatriates Organization (SEO) is proud to have financed KSS’s operation for the last 2 years. SEO’s financial support to Kellis Secondary School ensures that we are serving one of Syrian’s most vulnerable populations, its youth, and building the foundation of a free and democratic Syria. By supporting KSS, we are protecting and defending the right of Syria’s youth to learn and build a better future for themselves and their communities. This is a direct investment in the future of Syria and its people.
Syrian Expatriates Organization has decided to try its best to continue financing this school for another year and to develop the school’s capacity, Syrians’ future capacity!
